this Voluntary fee at the beginning of the school year.
This fee was to supplement government funding to the school to buy such
things as:
- Extra books for our Library

- Materials for Art/Craft and Technology
- Sport and Recreational Equipment
- Music
- Televisions, Digitals Cameras, Video Cameras etc

Canteen
HSPS P&C employs a Canteen Supervisor, Mrs Hulme, to operate our
Canteen on Mondays and Fridays in school term. Mrs Hulme relies heavily
on the support of parent volunteers to help her operate the Canteen on
these days. Any amount of help that parents can give is greatly
appreciated.
The HSPS Canteen is operating under the new
Healthy Foods for Schools policy that was introduced at the beginning of
2005.
Before and After School Care - "The Willows"
The Yurt at the rear of the school is used as the home fore our HSPS
Before and After School Care Building. This service runs every day from
7am – 9am and 3pm-6.30pm during term time. It also runs all day on pupil
free days for parents needing help on these days. The BASC Sub-committee
employs staff with suitable qualifications to run this wonderful
service. The children have a great experience when they visit the
Centre. |
